1. Overview

Vijit Labs ("we", "us") operates CallLens AI. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data: Email address provided at subscription signup.
• Usage data: Number of calls analysed, plan type, subscription status.
• Call metadata: Date, agent name, reviewer name — as entered by you.
• Analytics: Page visits via Google Analytics (anonymised).

3. Data We Do NOT Store

• Audio recordings — deleted immediately after transcription.
• Full call transcripts — discarded once analysis is complete.
• Payment card details — handled entirely by Paddle.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the Service.
• To manage your subscription and billing.
• To display usage statistics in the Team Dashboard.
• To send service-related communications (not marketing without consent).

5. Data Retention

Call analysis summaries are stored for 90 days and then automatically deleted. Account data is retained while your subscription is active and for 30 days after cancellation.

6. Third-Party Services and Data Flows

• Deepgram (transcription) — Audio files are sent to Deepgram's API for speech-to-text transcription. Audio is not retained by Deepgram beyond the processing of the request, per Deepgram's data retention policy. Deepgram is subject to their own privacy policy.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — Call transcripts are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for AI-powered analysis. Anthropic does not use API inputs or outputs for model training (per Anthropic's API usage policy). Transcripts are processed solely to generate the analysis report and are not retained by Anthropic.
• Paddle — Payment processing. We do not store card details. Subject to Paddle's privacy policy.
• Upstash Redis — Secure in-memory storage for subscription records and usage counters. Data is encrypted at rest.
• Google Analytics — Anonymised website analytics only. No call or customer data is sent to Google.

7. Call Recording Consent

By uploading call recordings to CallLens AI, you confirm that you have obtained all legally required consents from call participants in your jurisdiction. In many countries and US states, all parties to a call must consent before recording. Vijit Labs is not responsible for any failure to obtain required consents. It is your organisation's responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable recording laws before using this Service.

8. GDPR

If you are based in the European Economic Area (EEA) or process data of EEA residents, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict your personal data. Call recordings may contain the voice data of third parties (call participants), which can constitute personal data and in some cases special category data (e.g. biometric data) under GDPR. You are responsible for ensuring your use of this Service complies with GDPR obligations applicable to your organisation. We act as a data processor on your behalf. Contact support@vijit.in to request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

9. HIPAA Notice

CallLens AI is not a HIPAA-covered service. We have not entered into a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Anthropic or Deepgram. Do not upload recordings of medical consultations, patient calls, or any other content containing Protected Health Information (PHI). If your organisation handles PHI, contact support@vijit.in before using this Service.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@vijit.in.

11. Cookies

We use minimal cookies for session management and Google Analytics. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
